| The first academic seminar will be held in Academia Sinica on Aug. 6th 2005 in Taipei, Taiwan. The convention is hosted by Taiwan Amkey Corporation. The sponsors are Ching Kuo Institute of Management & Health, NTUT (National Taipei University Technology) - Center for Regional Industry Academia Cooperation, M.O.E, CMDU and Amkey, Inc of the USA. Dr. Iris Wang PhD and Dr. Stewart Lebrun PhD are the featured speakers. They are both well-known professors at the University of California at Berkeley and C.H.O.R.I (Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute). Dr. Iris Wang - a professor and scientist, recognized world-wide in her field. Dr. Iris Wang graduated from UC Berkeley where she earned her PhD in Molecular Cell Biology. After graduation, she worked as an associate professor of research in the UC Berkeley Molecular Cell Biology Department. She also has experience at C.H.O.R.I as an assistant researcher. Dr. Iris Wang has studied and worked as a researcher in Nutrition Sciences at The Bureau of Life Sciences & Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai. The studies encompassed nutrition related illness and how it affects the process of senility and age related degeneration; focusing on Free Radicals Biology and the of Mitochondrial Metabolism. Dr. Stewart Lebrun - PhD from Stanford University As an incumbent professor of the University of California at Berkeley in the USA, Dr. Stewart Lebrun has done research in the areas of slowing the progress of aging by the rehabilitation of cell mitochondria. Staying young is not a dream! Amkey's high-tech patented product "Nutrigen" was released by the scientific team of Dr. Iris Wang, Dr. Stewart Lebrun and Dr. Jiankang Liu (the original inventor of the Cellgen). Their theory has received the approbation of their peers in the same profession. There are nearly 60 articles on the thesis that have been published in the magazines PNAS, FASEB J. JBC.
